Join us for our monthly chapter meeting! Our May 2024 meeting features the team that is doing a study in the Chain Lakes to determine if feces and egg shells can be used to determine heavy metal loading in wood ducks and other waterfowl. Jennifer Crawford, EPA Project Manager for the egg shell and feces study, and Mark Jankowski, a project colleague, will be discussing the methodology and goals of the study as well as providing some information on waterfowl research in the Coeur d’Alene River basin. 

Ralph Kerr will present the Western Meadowlark for the Bird-of-the-Month. The website committee will provide an informational walkthrough of the new webiste. Arrive early to visit and enjoy Ellie’s delicious baked goods and a cuppa!
