In collaboration with Idaho State Parks, join Coeur d’Alene Audubon at Higgens Point to watch Bald Eagles on Lake Coeur d’Alene feast on kokanee salmon that spawn on the lake shore and die. At the peak of this spectacular event, sometimes hundreds of Bald Eagles can be seen! Audubon members will be manning spotting scopes with step stools for younger viewers, and will share information on eagle biology, behavior and how to safely and appropriately view the birds.
